If you haven't completed the course
You can ask for a full refund within 30 days of purchase, as long as you have not completed the course. Email support@directmcle.com from your account address with your order number or the date you purchased, and we will take care of it.
If you have completed the course
Once you complete a course, you have earned your MCLE credit and received your certificate, so completed courses are not eligible for a refund. The exception is a problem on our side that stops you from earning or documenting your credit. If something we control goes wrong, such as a technical fault that prevents completion from being recorded or a certificate that cannot be issued, we will fix it or refund you in full.
If State Bar approval changes
If the State Bar withdraws its approval of a course before you complete it, you will receive a full refund.
What a refund means
- Your access to the course and its materials ends when the refund is issued.
- Refunds go back to your original payment method through our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy. Your bank may take several business days to show it.
- A certificate or completion record that already exists is kept. It documents a completed activity, and the State Bar's record-keeping rules apply to it. This matters only in the rare case of a refund after completion, described above.
Account sharing and improper credit
If credit was obtained improperly, as described in our Terms of Service, the course is not eligible for a refund.
